DWK PSASTS is owned and operated by Dieter W. Karpf, a seasoned security professional with over 25 years of experience. Drawing on his background as a retired Deputy Sheriff and Correctional Officer, Dieter provides expert instruction in Security, Personal Safety, and Martial Arts Training. His leadership is further complemented by his nine years as CEO and General Manager of ProSec Services Inc. and SDT Academy.

Dieter W. Karpf is the owner and CEO of DWK Consulting and was established in July of 2009
Assisting Dieter in developing programs/courses/seminars was provided by Professionals employed in Criminal Justice, Medical, Fire Prevention and Private Security Industries in Canada and the USA.
Dieter developed five training systems which are copyrighted in Hull Quebec, Canada

Defined Responsibilities as a Deputy Sheriff and Corrections Officer:
- Provided a number of “High Profile” prisoner escort/protection assignments on land (driving) and in the air (flying).
- Required to fly to larger Canadian Cities to arrest and transport prisoners from various Correctional Facilities/Police Lockups to Vancouver on Outstanding Warrants.
- Selected by the Judiciary to provide personal protection services for the Chief Judge of the Province.
- Protection/security assignments for Provincial Court Judges & Juries.
- Transported Important Court Exhibits to undisclosed destinations.
- Worked together with the R.C.M.P. and Vancouver Emergency Response Team in escorting and transporting high profile prisoners (Clifford Olson among others) by motorcade, on plains & on foot.
- Developed a training plan and Instruct/Supervise a Tactical Team (Emergency Response/Cell Extraction Team) for the Vancouver Supreme Court House.
- Selected as the Training Officer by the Warden of the Burnaby Female Correctional Facility to train all Female Correctional Officer (1979)
- Developed and conducted extensive Risk Assessment pertaining to Deputy Sheriff Duties, Ministry of the Attorney General, and was also involved in Occupational Health & Safety matters in the Escort Section.

- Developed a Physical Fitness and Self Defense Program for Female Correctional Officers.
- Assisted and instructed at Physical Fitness and Self Defense & Control Tactics Classes at the Justice Institute of B.C. for the following groups of people:
- Auxiliary Police Personnel.
- Correctional Officers (Impact Weapons Course).
- Deputy Sheriffs and Auxiliary Personnel.

- Designed a Baton Re-qualification Program for Deputy Sheriffs at 222 Main Street, Provincial Courthouse at the JIBC (Sheriffs Academy).
