Description

We offer the 3.5-hour Workplace Violence Prevention & Safety Program for Government Agencies, Corporation and Small Businesses groups at our client’s place of business or at our training facility in New Westminster, BC.

The 3.5-hour “Workplace Violence & De-escalation Program” is most suitable for Firefighters, Paramedics and Enforcement Agencies (Bi-law Officers and others). 

This unique program is designed to provide first responders with the necessary tools to deal effectively with people who may pose risks of violence and thus preventing/minimizing/eliminating potential threats of workplace violence.  

Some of the areas that we cover in this 3.5-hour program include but is not limited to workplace safety and risk assessment, situational awareness of people, places and environments, dealing with people who are mentally ill and/or are addicted to substance abuse, awareness of dangerous people in possession of weapons and potential usable weapons and conflict intervention/de-escalation as well as effective communication strategies. We also incorporate some micro scenario-work based simulation training.
